"Good SMS Tool with lots of functionality"

What do you like best?

It is quite flexible to use. The fact that an SMS sent to a number can be setup so that it creates a Lead in Salesforce if it's a new customer is a big functionality for us.

What do you dislike?

Nothing I can think of at the moment. So far their support and account manager assigned to us have been very helpful answering any questions and resolving any requests or inquiries.

Recommendations to others considering the product

They have added this tool called "Conversations" which we're trying to adopt now, but it makes it much easier to continue the conversation via SMS same as most people is used to in a regular phone (more like a chat functionality).

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Since now-a-day people use smart phones and prefer to get in contact via SMS rather than via email or phone, we can take advantage of this and use SMS Magic to create Leads in Salesforce and to communicate directly with customers and in general anyone out there via SMS.

Our recent benefit is that now we're able to make customer sign contract via SMS by being able to send them a DocuSign link.

"Poor experience"

What do you like best?

The group chat feature was helpful when unlimited

What do you dislike?

SMS Magic was difficult to implement into our salesforce CRM, we didn't receive accurate notifications when a student texted us. The numbers associated were unable to receive or make calls which made it confusing for students. It was difficult to navigate to text conversations, replies, and the associated contact

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Hoping to be able to mass text students and be able to log our interactions with students. This would significantly help efficiency and communication with students

"Limited usage in our CRM"

What do you like best?

Ability to text clients out of saleforce platform.

What do you dislike?

It is difficult to get set up, building out a workflow is difficult, and the amount of numbers we are able to text from is limited

Recommendations to others considering the product

When you are implementing make sure you have someone on staff that is a crm administrator or has experience with building out complex workflows. It is not easy to build out for a small organization. Also, they are limited to the number of phone numbers you can text out from. We didn't know this going in and it would have changed our decision to move forward with the application.

"Good product for mass messaging"

What do you like best?

I think the best part of the product is the ability to send mass messages to individuals

What do you dislike?

The user interface was a bit clunky but they have not revamped it and is much more user friendly

"Nice app with some good features"

What do you like best?

Converse Desk is a really nice feature. It is also available as an embedded component which is good.

What do you dislike?

I felt the UI was a little slow when compared to other apps like 360 SMS.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The ability to send SMS allows our Recruiters to send SMS messages to candidates which is very useful in recruiting industry
