"Always delivers"

What do you like best?

It is easy to set up, secure and gives me analytics that helps me keep my lists up to date. In the years I've been using these guys to relay mass emails, I've never had any difficulty with their service. It just works. Also, their servers seem to consistently stay off the blacklists.

What do you dislike?

The reporting features are pretty broad, but they could be broader. I would like to download a list of all hard-bounces and all complaints over a given time period in one report, but right now it requires two reports to get all that data.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Follow best practices for emails and list management, and these guys will make sure your emails are delivered.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

They make sure the bulk email I send for my clients gets delivered. The high deliverability rates are the first step in achieving good ROI on email marketing campaigns. The reports they give me make sure I keep lists up to date and neer spam anyone.

"Reliable service, Great Customer Service, beware if emailing @qq.com"

What do you like best?

Customer service has been quick to respond and helpful. Set up has been relatively simple and online guides are helpful. We are only testing the system at the moment so have not used the system widespread just yet. We are planning to test the dedicated IP service next.

SMTP.com worked smoothly with Filemaker scripts to send emails via SMTP.

What do you dislike?

Have to pay extra for a dedicated IP address in order to send to @qq.com addresses, because the domain limits the number of emails in a certain time-frame that it will accept from any single IP address. Being in a shared pool of IP addresses meant my single email to a @qq.com address was rejected. If you're planning to do business with China or have any Chinese contacts this will be a concern for you. We have not encountered this issues with other domains as of yet - we are still testing the shared IP address pool at the moment.

Online set up guides were out of date, need to be kept current.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The price point is such that there is limited risk to conducting a test. Their customer service was prompt and very supportive.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our email provider has a 70 email per address per half hour limit. We have hundreds of clients that we need to notify of payments on a single day. We needed a way to bypass that limit.

Our database system was also experiencing errors when trying to send via our standard SMTP server, we needed a separate SMTP server to test the issue.

"ease of use"

What do you like best?

SMTP2GO is so easy to use and beneficial to our company

What do you dislike?

there is nothing I dislike about SMTP. it is a great product in my opinion.

when using SMTP, you will get everything you need to set up a mailing system to your employees. the product is so easy to use and it has benefited our company by letting us email their pay stubs instead of having to print 100's of paper stubs.

we have direct deposit and this makes it so easy to get everyone their check stubs.

"Very good experience"

What do you like best?

It has actually served us well and created us a minimum of 50% of our brand-new company. I send out just 5000 e-mails every 2 weeks, usually without mistake. With every SMTP provider there will be some concerns, it's how you solve them, the support was spot on every time

What do you dislike?

The only cons I would point out is that the UI has to include some little functions, like password reset for extra accounts

"Good email marketing solution, but customer support is not quick enough"

What do you like best?

Good email marketing product, good deliverability, with good tracking and reporting for users to understand the email marketing performance. The service performance is reliable and the product is easy to use.

Good product recommend to email marketing solution seekers. Worth to give it a try.

What do you dislike?

Customer support waiting time for oversea users is a bit long, but fair enough and the service is quite reliable, the performance doesn't go down.

The only thing not like it now is the pricing is less competitive on the market now. It will be better if the price can go down and provide some free trial services for start users.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The email marketing product is easy to use, provide good deliverability and analysis, meet all email marketing requirements. However, the support for overseas is not fast enough, but fair enough. A good solution provider.

What do you dislike?

We've been wholly satisfied with SMTP and their services. Nothing for me to put here.

"Best ESP infrastructure and service"

What do you like best?

Very good infrastructure with white-listing, dedicated sending IPs and in-depth reporting.

What do you dislike?

We've had a few challenges on sufficient leadtime and notifications on maintenance work by SMTP.com. However, our account manager is in close contact with us to ensure this is not happening again in the future.

As SMTP.com is only hosted at one provider, we've had routing issues once. It would be beneficial if SMTP.com would have a second provider in a different country/location.

"Great Deliverability"

What do you like best?

Deliverability was top of the line. Works well with Mautic.

What do you dislike?

A little difficult to integrate. I had to work to get it to play well with open source automation.
