"Reviewing Dynamsoft SourceAnywhere"

What do you like best?

It supports project branch and merge options. It also provides support for key VSS features such as labeling, branching, versioning, and changeset. It provides good overall performance as it transfers the only files that are changed and provides a unified seamless migration from Visual SourceSafe (VSS)

What do you dislike?

It can sometimes create problems while merging. Also, it is proprietory although there are open source version maintaining tools out there in the market such as Bazaar, GIT, etc.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Overall a very good and robust tool for version maintaining. However, please consider other open source software such as Bazaar, GIT etc. On the paid side, SVN is also a good tool.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It is a version control tool which helps manage the change of documents, programs, web sites, and other sorts of information. Basically, a logical way to organize and control revisions of files.
