"Gamma framework is nice"

What do you like best?

If you are looking for a gaming framework yes you are on a right place, gamma is a cross platform game framework cross platform means you can build your app on one platform and can compile and run on android ios and other platforms as well.

What do you dislike?

For normal developers it is bit change of syntaxes and all but it is quite easy to learn for even a new developer too but i would suggest if you go with other libraries like in jquery javascript this one is best performance platform

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I used to develop the the applications, i developed a quiz based application, and as i mentioned above this is best among other platforms as they have lot of configuration and sync issues when playing with multiplayer.

"True to actionscript engine for the new generation"

What do you like best?

If you were comfortable working with flash and actionscript 3, starling framework is an amazing way to bring your skillset in to the modern era.

Cross platform support is great and lets you bring your ideas to multiple platforms with ease.

What do you dislike?

Direction seems a bit unknown with a lot of lackluster side projects to accompany this engine.

A mash of different technologies, when issues arise you are often on your own and having to deal with multiple codebases that are scattered around.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you are quickly trying to escape flash, this is a great solution, but be ready for dealing with hard to place problems if you're trying to do very complex things. A lot of the integrated features are nice, but it feels like a lot of the tools to make things better are necessary but costly.

Their UI solution (Feathers) is also lackluster and looks and feels outdated. I do not recommend this for making a UI driven project.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Quick game prototyping and bringing existing skills to modern solutions. I love that the years I spent with flash and actionscript will not go to a complete waste.

What Game Engine solution do you use?

Thanks for letting us know!
