World-class Service and Game-changing Product

What do you like best?

World-class support (and even training), incredibly responsive to feature-requests (the ones that make sense for their product obviously). It's not overly simplistic like Mixpanel (which we no longer use), but still easy to use and learn. If you're looking for a big data reporting tool, look no further than these guys!

What do you dislike?

Their documentation is somewhat limited but they happily provide answers within minutes. Some features are missing but everything I want is in their 3-month pipeline.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Chat to them and they will help you get setup on their product. The engineering cost-saving of that alone is worth their annual fee! Their team is funny, great to chat to and always around to answer questions!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Within 3 weeks of using the product we found an insight that paid for their entire year's fees. We're able to query our redshift database using Natural Language via Slack. We have unlimited dashboards, scheduled reports (to Slack), Slack alerts when data hits outliers, etc. My staff are able to get insights via Slack without having to ask Devs or BIs.

The Best Analytics, AdWords and Salesforce Chatbot: Statsbot

What do you like best?

Statsbot has allowed me to monitor Elegran's most valuable performance indicators from website metrics to funnels across AdWords, Google Analytics, MixPanel and other data sources, like an SQL database.

In addition to real-time chatbot notifications in Slack whenever a deal is closed or when traffic or goals cross a certain threshold, web dashboards have enabled my marketing team to engage on a high level with our data every day, instead of running reports piecemeal. This provides executive management with consistent, actionable business intelligence about spikes traffic and revenue, and the overall health of our business.

What do you dislike?

Be careful auto-scheduling reports, as they can become overwhelming.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Don't be afraid to try out creative queries in Slack! Statsbot has become super-intelligent to comprehend natural language searches of dimensions, metrics, Salesforce objects and all sorts of other data sets.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Statsbot provides both a high-level perspective and a granular view of Elegran’s entire marketing strategy from within a single platform. It has become an extra data scientist working for me, automating and centralizing reporting in Slack for my entire team, providing high-level insight about engagement and our marketing and sales funnels.

Great product with fantastic support

What do you like best?

Statsbot allows very easy visualisation of business metrics from SQL database without any buffering or complex configuration like many other business intelligence tools require. Scheduled and on-demand Slack reports are great to keep our entire team on track. Statsbot's support team is very responsive and helpful. It's great customer experience with them!

What do you dislike?

It's not that easy to build some tricky custom KPIs, but there are no other tools in similar price range allow it either.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Statsbot is great with high-level reports as well as with very details drill downs. Their AI goal estimation is quite accurate. We save a lot of time for generating tonnes of different reports directly from our DB.

Great tool, very nice support but still young

What do you like best?

The dashboards and slack integrations is awesome, very useful and functional. It leads people in the company to follow the data much more closely which is the real goal here. The model builder is flexible and can do much of what you want to achieve if a little patient. It's not full features likes many of the competitors but what you need is there. It works smoothly and the user experience in way above most of the competitors in my opinion.

What do you dislike?

There is a serious lack of documentation for SQL model builder. Their support makes up for it but it would be way nicer to have proper documentation. Some features are also rough are the edges. For instance there is often a too aggressive rounding up on some numbers and a couple of KPI that is negative when they increase get portrayed as 'positive' with green arrow and such. The mobile support is also poor.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Statsbot is mostly used here to track our KPI and information to guide our decision on the growth, content and products.

Good for basic analytics integration into slack. Too expensive for SQL.

What do you like best?

The ability to build analytics reports and customize the deliverability of the reports into SLACK. Also, the ease of syncing analytics data into the Statsbot Dashboard.

What do you dislike?

The cost is insane, it is per user cost, so if you have an SMB with 50 employees, you are going to feel the pain. The SQL integration is beyond expensive and there are much better alternatives cost wise.

If pricing is a concern, this software isn't for you, if pricing is not a concern, then go for it because the product is quality.

Analytics notifications and scheduling into SLACK for SMB's.

Easy to use BI with exceptional customer service

What do you like best?

For us, Statsbot proved to be the right balance of power and ease of use. It was adopted quickly by the non-technical members of our team.

The onboarding and ongoing customer support has been like nothing I've experienced before. The team are incredibly responsive, professional and knowledgable.

What do you dislike?

Documentation is very short, but the responsiveness of the customer success team more than makes up for it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We're using Statsbot predominantly for sales analysis. We're able to slice the data in ways that have previously been impossible, and with relative ease.
