Inability to include margin percentages. There was also a severely high fraud level determined by a third party ad tech company and the platform didn't show many solutions to improve these numbers.

Clearly outline campaign objectives and re-iterate throughout the campaign. Also, if you collect a margin, double check reporting that you receive to make sure that reported spend includes your margin.

Awareness and DR campaigns. For awareness, view ability and fraud are main KPIs and there are limited solutions to pre bid blocking strategies.
