Very hopeful but a little skeptical.

What do you like best?

The possibilities and down to earth approach. It seems cheezy but human aspects in SAAS companies really make the difference. We are slowing jumping on board going through each feature and testing it against our current methods. So far we are finding value and are looking to see how to push Trade Gecko to its limits as a customer and business owner. Now they have language support for documents and being a company that operates mainly in spanish they get kudos for that.

What do you dislike?

the integration degree with apps, sometimes the time it takes to load the catalog when you want to link a new product form an integration like Shopify. At first it can be a bit overwhelming to come on board when you have been managing your company with other software and have a history to integrate. Then you find bumps on the road and have to make tradeoffs.

Recommendations to others considering the product

See how far the stretch is for your company. Is your activity tier worth the cost and do you need the benefits it provides? Are you thinking of linking digital distribution channels, b2b and b2c, multi-warehouses and need to keep it all tidy? Are you willing to put in the time to record your catalog properly and use and test the software to know how much it can do for you? Those are the questions I would ask anyone thinking of signing on with Trade Gecko.

Centralized inventory management through different warehouses with online and real-time support that crosses through platforms that we use.

Excellent software for managing inventory and B2B sales

What do you like best?

Seamless Shopify integration and great B2B portal for managing wholesale customers.

What do you dislike?

Can be cumbersome for a small business due to the many options and features. These features are what allow for significant scaling but can be overwhelming at times - similar to something like SalesForce. Focus on what you need to make it work for you and don't try to become an expert on other functions until you need them.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Definitely sign up for the free trial and take it for a test drive. Once recommendation would be to limit the features you try out in your trial and focus on making sure it handles your basic needs first. There are so many features that you can get a bit overwhelmed if you try to do it all at once. Also, the phone and email support is excellent so be sure to take advantage.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

TradeGecko makes it easy to manage our inventory and accept wholesale orders. It also works seamlessly with Shopify for B2C sales and Shipstation for fulfillment. The software is incredibly useful for small business and best of all, it has the capability to scale with us as we grow so we aren't forced to learn a new platform down the road. Also, the customer service is excellent.

For the money you can't beat the package

What do you like best?

Provides Inventory, Billing and Inventory and a B2B ecommerce solution related PO's as a backend to several core SAAS based accounting systems. Integration between TradeGecko and multiple other products ranges from good to excellent.

What do you dislike?

The integrations are always missing logical pieces. Shipping isn't configurable into its own G/L account. Refunds are not automatically transferred between WooCommerce and TradeGecko as orders are. TradeGecko has the ability to mirror its ledgers with the controlling Accounting System, but doesn't, making auditing a bit of a challenge.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Understand its limitations, build procedures to compensate and push for product improvements which will make TradeGecko a real challenger to larger systems

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Start-up with a consumer, and business e-commerce model, with a later need for EDI but without the funds to implement a big solution.

TradeGecko was an economical and functional alternative.

The missing link!

What do you like best?

We love that tradegecko manages our inventory on a higher level. Everything from keeping track of the moving average cost of an item to syncing the inventory of our wholesale business with our direct to customer business. Also, we love that TradeGecko is our hub for our inventory, customer and supplier info.

What do you dislike?

We'd love to see multi-currency payment processing and deposits into various currency accounts.

Reporting could also be enhanced to show the "life cycle" of an inventory item.

Just do it! It will save you time and money and allow you to focus on other areas of your business.

large inventory - no problem :)

What do you like best?

I like the interface and feature set of Tradegecko. The ease of use and clear screens make this product easy to use.

The feature set is full and constantly growing as the developers are keen to hear and implement what customers need to make this product even more useful.

It is able to handle our large inventory of over 45,000 products and the integrations it offered us with Shopify/Shopify POS/ShipStation/QuickBooks Online gave us a full featured solution in a stable and efficient environment.

What do you dislike?

Tech support is only offered via email, but their response is quick and direct with telephone support if the issue warrants it.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We had to have a stable full featured inventory system that could handle multiple warehouse locations and bins that integrates with sales channels of brick and mortar stores and e-commerce.

The integrations with Shopify/Shopify POS and QuickBooks Online made this happen. Add in ShipStation and our order processing and delivery is a seamless and efficient process. Nothing slips through the cracks!

TradeGecko it's great!

What do you like best?

It makes your time valuable, keeping everything organized and able to track at any time and online.

What do you dislike?

I manage two accounts in different countries, the users don't speak both languages, I do. It would be great to be able to use the same account in Spanish and English with the user having the option of selecting their language of preference. At the end being able to select the language you would like your Sales Order, Purchase Order, etc, in the language of your preference as we have Spanish and English speakers as customers and suppliers. Because TradeGecko doesn't have this feature, we have to edit the language in Adobe Acrobat.

It allows you to have more time and having everything organized and accurate.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It helps me to keep everything in one place. My customers, suppliers, inventory, barcodes, the status of any sales/purchase order and so on. Also, my colleagues and I are able to control the 2 companies we manage in different countries.
