"UserEngage has been super beneficial to our business"

What do you like best?

Our platform, The-Collectory.com, is a members-only site focusing on luxury goods. With the help of UserEngage, we can easily understand the behavior of each and every one of our members, and therefore, deliver an extremely well-tailored and personalized customer service experience.

What do you dislike?

The pricing structure. I don't like to pay per user because it incentivizes me to have less users. There are some features I don't use and would rather to pay per feature or some other structure. There have also been some kinks and bugs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are in the luxury business, so for us it's all about knowing and anticipating all of the needs of our clients. With UserEngage, we are able to track behavior, message and engage with clients. With the amount of information we learn from our clients (who they are, where are they visitng from, what they care about, etc.) we are able to deliver a truly personal shopping experience.

"Great tool for engaging with users."

What do you like best?

I like the looks of this app and the ease that you can start using it.

What do you dislike?

There are many, many options and this is of course a good thing, but at the same time you need a lot of time to fully understand all the possibilities.

If you need a great tool for engaging with users you should definitely give UserEngage a try. It might look a little bit complicated at first, but it is worth trying.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Communicating with beta testers and first users to our app. Getting feedback from them and learning about devices and browsers they use (and we can use that during the conversation).

"Tons of features and affordable but not simple to use"

What do you like best?

UserEngage provides a lot of features (chat, visitor tracking, forms, email campaigns, marketing automation, etc.) for the price. It is definitely a bang for your bucks.

The visitor tracking tool is great!

What do you dislike?

The form builder and email template builder is not simple to use. In fact, to make it work best you must have some coding skills.

if you have some coding skills the tools is for you. If you dont have any, you might want to look for a tool that is simpler to use.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

UserEngage helped us to live chat with users and automate the chat. In fact, the chat tool is great!

The tool also allowed us to track visitors on our website to get to know the popularity of our content.

"Used to be Great value and awesome feature list"

What do you like best?

Nothing works any more. For example now we cannot use the emailing function - a basic feature and why we pay for it...

Used to be a good alternative...

What do you dislike?

Chat sometimes has delays and emailing does not use our email id.

Support is not ideal during holidays...

Try it out and read carefully through the documentation for implementing.

We needed a simple way to get advanced user analytics and emailing automation. Basically we needed an intercom alternative and we got so much more.

"Its good and smart, but not perfect..."

What do you like best?

Finding a CRM and Marketing that fits with our business is a very difficult task ... Budget, integrations, advantages, resources, support ... It's like a magic soup. We have a Marketplace, and we need a CRM that fits perfectly with WooCommerce.

After testing 5 different SaaS, UserEngage seemed to be the best option ... It seemed ...

We tested some functions and found that the software is full of bugs, very poorly coded and the support is disqualified ... Although having a great interface mainly in automation and the chat features to be good, good would not be great. The only recommendation I would give to anyone is that they test, test well before entering their credit card.

What do you dislike?

In a single week, the system went out of the air for 3 times ... This is very serious because the UserEngage code is added at the top of the page ... And when their system gets out of the Air, Locked up our entire website. And another very serious problem... They claim to have integration with WooCommerce, but the supplied plugin simply gives a critical error once the user makes the purchase on our site, scaring all our buyers. After spending days trying to talk to support to fix the bug, support said it fixed the problem. But in reality they had not changed ANYTHING in the script, and the error persisted ... After we lost our patience, and the UserEngage support saying "that the problem was not with them and cant reproduce the error!", we went to look what was wrong with the plugin they provide and we had found the error in less than 1 minute ... Why days to solve and still not resolved? After showing the error to the Site Administrator, they promised to correct the error in the next month ... Come on, we do not have time for this ... We spend a lot of money with paid ads and is trowing away money if the site doesn't work... Beware of misleading advertising, they promises a lot of functions, but some are just not working ... And another thing, if you want to customize your forms, popups and emails, you can prepare to have a very experienced programmer as the task is not simple. The SSL connection with e-mail its not working too...

UserEngage is not bad and I believe in potential, but now, it does not work for us ...

"A great tool for customer interaction"

What do you like best?

We love the ability to connect our system seamlessly with a suite of tool that allow us to manage and extend our customer contact options.

What do you dislike?

Not a lot! We'd like an extended CRM feature and certainly more options over the email templates but we know these are in the works.

Explore the system and you'll find plenty of options.

As a small team that services a large number of clients its a great set of tools to enable us to give great service to existing and potential customers. We are still to explore all the options available but this will happen very soon. When it does we expect great results and happy customers!

"Great software to track and interact with visitors and users."

What do you like best?

Great support team, they are continuously improving their software and keep you well informed with their onboarding functions.

Also I like the way you can create automated communication paths that help to engage with customers.

In the new app they have added dashboards which can be organized based upon personal preferences. I have not worked with it yet but it looks awesome!

What do you dislike?

The CRM function is not user friendly. Additionally it would be great if UE would develop a Chrome plugin that can be connected to email account. They want you to do all communication form UE but this is just not possible.

Please ask support to help you set up UserEngage, if you are not techsavvy it can take sometime.

Automated onboarding processes. A/B testing with modules/pop ups and set automated activities based upon visitors behavior.

"Great software"

What do you like best?

UserEngage is intuitive and easy to learn. They also have a great WordPress integration.

What do you dislike?

Can't think of anything negative to say.

Be sure and check out their WordPress integration!

UserEngage is great if you're looking for a customer and visitor communication platform. I was able to get up and running without any training because it is so intuitive. Their WordPress integration is also fantastic! Give it a go if you are looking for live chat.

Looks good, programmable with rules, understands your visitors

The mobile app can be improved. It is spartan (but still very useful)

UserEngage is not a well known name, but definitely one to look at. The feature set is solid, user experience is great and the insights you derive from the backend are priceless.

Answering potential customer questions on my sales pages and understanding what issues they have in the critical point in time when they decide if they spend money on my products or not.

"Nice and secure European Intercom alternative"

What do you like best?

UserEngage has a very nice drag&drop interface for setting up automatic communication & follow up flows with our website visitors. They also take data privacy very seriously. It has a very nice user interface.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it's unreliable because of downtimes and crashes.
