"Vendasta is a great tool to use for managing clients reputation management and online visibility. "

What do you like best?

The platform is very easy to navigate and when there is an update to the platform, we are notified and offered training on how to use it.

What do you dislike?

Having to back all the way out of one screen to go to a different client account.

Make sure you go through all of the training they offer! It really helps!

We are managing clients online presence and reputation management. The review tools are great for keeping track of good and bad reviews. The platform is useful in helping us to update and edit business listings for our clients.

"Great in Theory"

What do you like best?

The tools on Vendasta snapshot reports is a great tool for people to get an idea of their company digital footprint. They also have great products focusing on reputation management, reviews and more.

What do you dislike?

The automatic process of pulling info for a company is not as thorough as needed. You have to double check the info and make corrections, as there are usually mistakes. It also does not seem to pull the social media accounts for company. The snapshot report is also confusing at times, and I have never seen a website get higher than a B grading, they focus on aspects that are hard to explain to a customer, when it would be more beneficial to focus on the usability and easiness of navigation.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We help customers finding the best solutions for digital marketing. The benefits of Vendasta are the snapshot reports showing customers how they compare online to other companies in their industry.

"Good company, robust platform."

What do you like best?

What I like best about VendAsta is that it is a feature rich platform. I don't see value in everything they offer, I wouldn't do everything the same way they do it, but there is plenty of meat in their platform. So many of the SaaS I've tried are very lacking in features once you get into the platform. I haven't found this to be the case with VendAsta - there are so many little useful features that you don't even realize are there at first. This makes it a lot easier to shape the platform to a variety of clients and uses.

The support is good.

They upgrade and add features at a fast pace.

They really seem committed to helping their clients succeed.

True white-label.

You only have to pay for the parts of the platform that you use on a client-by-client basis.

What do you dislike?

Lately, they have been pushing to make their platform easier for my customers to login and use, which is great and makes me look good to my customers. However, I hope they turn their attention back the agency-level tools, like Concierge, next.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use VendAsta to keep tabs on the online presence and reputation of all of our clients. This can be done manually for a handful of clients, but becomes very difficult at scale without a well-designed platform.

"Flawless & Invisible"

What do you like best?

My clients have no idea (some) of my services are coming from a 3rd-party. Even more, the services are better than I could perform while handling my 50+ clients.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing I would change about this platform. There's always room to grow and I'm waiting to see what Vendasta will come up with next.

If you're handling a lot of remedial tasks that are important to your business, hand them off to Vendasta

"Love the Vendasta team!"

What do you like best?

The one on one attention we receive from Vendasta has been phenomenal. We have never been in a situation where we could not get assistance or guidance!

What do you dislike?

There are a few components that are missing (some social integration) and some of the pricing on the digital pieces are quite high.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Vendasta is forward thinking and strives to offer a great deal of what an agency needs. There are some bumps in the road on roll-outs - but that is to be expected. They have a great team!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Organizing & sending reports- being an adjunct to our current alerting & monitoring has been incredibly beneficial. And, Vendasta has been willing to help modify them for our client's needs. We also have a great support staff and account managers who integrate seamlessly with our in house team and most importantly, our clients.

"Enterprise class alerting, monitoring and reporting"

What do you like best?

This product is extremely robust and continue to expand on a weekly/monthly basis. They also listen to their customers and it feels like product management takes our input seriously. We use this product mainly for monitoring, alerting and reporting for ALL of our reputation marketing customers.

What do you dislike?

It is expensive relative to what you get with a high upfront cost.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Vendasta is really the best when it comes to what they provide, especially on the alerting and monitoring side. While they have improved their feedback and "review getting" capabilities they still have a long ways to go there to catch up to other industry solutions. Vendasta is also a great company to use if you are looking to add social media marketing to your tool bag and they keep adding in new capabilities to their agency monthly. Don't be afraid to negotiate price because we feel that we got a great deal when we first signed up because we pushed back on a few things. Nonetheless, Vendasta is now a core part of our business.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed robust monitoring, alerting and reporting for all our our reputation marketing clients. We also like the extensive listing tracking and listing distribution to correct incorrect listings over time. Finally, we are using the agency interface quite frequently to enhance our social media and review response offerings. So, overall while the cost of entry was high it has all been worth it to us since it has helped us expand what we can provide to our clients.

"Digital Marketing on Steroids!"

What do you like best?

If you are a digital marketer and you are not offering reputation management and marketing, you're missing out on some great ways to help your clients. With the white label version of Vendasta, I'm able to market all of their products and services as my own. You can too!

What do you dislike?

There isn't a single thing I don't like about the platform, staff, leadership or anything else. Fantastic!

If you are serious about helping your small and medium sized businesses improve their brand, SEO, online presence, reputation and social marketing, you cannot find a better platform.

It is reasonably priced, easy conversions, great marketing support and more.

By offering my clients the variety of products like reputation management and marketing, deep-dive analytics for brands with multiple locations, listing sync pro and others I am helping small business take care of their online storefront. Their brand online is everything for customers searching and researching businesses online, and if they are not keeping track of what is being said about them, they can easily get in trouble/

"Strong Success with Great Platform"

What do you like best?

We are in the middle of a pilot project with Tourism Saskatoon and our members there have been some great successes that have allowed our member to improve their online presence and reputation. It is easy to use with very little training required.

What do you dislike?

In the social aspect I would like to see Instagram added.

Vendasta is extremely easy to work with, very professional and prompt in helping us out with all our needs.

What do you like best?

VendAsta's team has passion for their service and their industry from the CEO to the front line leaders! They never say no to idea's but encourage the end user to give continual feedback to help make their service better and more efficient for the partners and end users.

What do you dislike?

I am at a loss for words! I cannot think of anything that I dislike about VendAsta.

"Good products, company can be frustrating at times"

What do you like best?

Vendasta has some excellent products they bring to the table. Their social engagement work is excellent, and their employees are pleasant to deal with. Their Partner Central portal is quite comprehensive and easy to use as well.

What do you dislike?

Their APIs can be an issue, particularly given they have a habit of occasionally changing their APIs with no warning (and suddenly everything that uses said API starts crashing). Some of their backend feels thrown together with no planning ahead.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Be prepared to deal with their support a fair bit for when API endpoints change unexpectedly. Aside from that, Vendasta has been great to deal with.

We route several products through Vendasta, including Reputation Intelligence, microsites, and social marketing. So far, Vendasta has done an excellent job engaging with customers for these.

"Great support with a lot of scaleable options"

Onboardong experience, support, scaleable services and tools.

The social media platform is a little dated, which does make it difficult to sell against competitors.

Marketing for small business is challenging - from time and budget to the endless list of options that typically do nothing more than confuse. The Vendasta platform answers many of these needs, most at an ivnstment level that makes sense.

"review of Vendasta software and support"

What do you like best?

That from one space you can manage so many online activities. If a business needs help growing their online presence; this software is a great tool. A very strong social media team.

What do you dislike?

Expensive, the use of the software is a little expensive per client. It is a little hard trying to figure out how to coordinate your sales team vs your users and coordinate that with markets.

Working with local businesses to grow their online presence. Thru the software being able to help local businesses move up the Google totem pole.

The easiest part is selling to accounts!

So much support stuff, sometimes don't know which way to turn.

I would like to see more documentation (screen shots) on various parts of claiming the Big 4, unless it's there and I don't see it.

Some people are easier to train than others, which is nothing new. Some people are traditional print sales, but going with them on sales calls has opened their eyes to the revenue potential.
