"Very visual and great for customer use."

What do you like best?

The ability for customers to be able to go through and configure a product on their own so we can import that directly into an order without having to re-key. We have so many customers that love this new tool that we offered to them so they can build their products and see pricing change as they go through the process of building. We have had a lot of positive feedback from our customers. Great for quoting customers as well as they can just use the quote we build and send it back it they want to order and we have it built already so we just download and import!

What do you dislike?

I have not found anything that I dislike. I only wish to have more time to get in and see what features I have not noticed yet and have not been able to utilize as I'm sure they will be great.

As the Supervisor of our Customer Service department, I can say that we have found this to be a great tool and very helpful for our customers.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This is a great tool for our customers to use to see our configurations and what goes into them and I feel that it has helped our customers to better understand our products. It has reduced order entry errors on our configured product as well as they now do not have to be re-keyed from a PDF build sheet that our customers used to fill out.

"Couldn't ask for much more"

What do you like best?

Easy to use and maintain. Simplifies quoting for sales reps resulting in quicker and more accurate quotes improving downstream operations.

What do you dislike?

Fairly new product so not fully mature but constantly evolving. Not much reusability across products, a more modular design would make maintaining rules much easier.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Complete a thorough evaluation and standardization of your product set prior to implementing a CPQ. This will ensure less rework throughout implementation due to changes in product requirements.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have a fairly complex product set that can be configured in a virtually unlimited number of ways. Sole CPQ allows us to ensure that quotes are created accurately, rapidly, and ensures incompatible quotes are not created.

"Productivity Booster"

What do you like best?

The ability to configure exactly what I need in minutes, see the configuration, and know my prices. As well as save the configurations as a reference point for purchases later on.

What do you dislike?

I haven't found anything to complain about yet.

From what I've seen, it should absolutely be considered. It has cut processes in half for me with certain tasks.

It's definitely a productivity booster. So much so, it's easier for me to configure products for people than teach them how to use it.

The ease of implementation. Only thing required is product knowledge! No IT departments or coding necessary.

Verenia is willing to add custom features when requested, but these things can take time if they haven't done them before

What do you like best?

The software is very easy to use and navigate. The biggest benefit for me is the ability to have a graphical representation of what you are designing/quoting.

What do you dislike?

My one and only dislike is that I can't copy configurations from one quote to another. I can duplicate them within the same quote, however I'm not able to copy/past to a new quote.

I would definitely recommend EOS.

Customer builds, and the ease of allowing not only the customer to design/configure a product but also to have a graphical representation of that product if you design/configure it.

"Easy to Use and High Customization"

What do you like best?

Customization is key, Sole allows you to be able to create a highly customized solution that fits your products while making it easy for reps to quote or sell those products.

Fine tune customization is also possible by editing individual actions that are being ran in the solution. Really lets you fit it into your current processes better.

What do you dislike?

Having to copy JS code for each Action, there should be an option to reference a file instead of having to copy the same code to multiple actions.

"Very Customizable Software with excellent support from the EosCPQ team"

What do you like best?

Our requirements are very demanding and complex. The Verenia Team has worked side by side with us to meet the challenges and produce an excellent Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and Lead, Sales Order, Parts Order, Warranty, Registration, Serial Tracking System! Along with this, the tools are available to create programs and reports with elaborate calculations. The Verenia Team has helped us create all the interfaces between our ERP and Shipment Tracking to eliminate redundant maintenance and manual updating.

Security is baked in, to allow levels of access to all the menus/options available.

We have just released our 3 version of the software and are ecstatic with the results.

We have no limit on the number of users (retail leads) or dealers.

What do you dislike?

When we first went live with the CPQ, the speed was really slow. (Intolerable)

It also didn’t work well on iPads at first.

We brain-stormed as a team and over 4 months increased the speed immensely.

The software now works with all browsers.

We are providing our dealership network with a full service portal where they receive their leads based on consumers building product that is pushed right to their Quotes & Orders work bench. Leads can be quoted, then orders placed, external sales reps approve and plan shipments, to internal sales acceptance. Orders are put into our ERP and the invoiced info with serial numbers is pushed back to the web for warranty registration, service tracking for parts and warranty.

We use the CPQ to create our specs and order forms, and reports for dealers.

This is the front end to our total selling process.

"Great software, incredible company!"

What do you like best?

I was the project manager that oversaw the implementation of EosCPQ for our company. We had a very aggressive timeline for implementing not only a new CPQ but also integrating it into a new CRM. I can't say enough good things about the Verenia team and their effort. Without their help we would not have been able to hit our deadline and deliver a significantly better quoting experience for our sales team.

The software is really good. It has a lot of flexibility and is very easy to use with just a little bit of training. Our company had a CPQ prior to switching to Eos that was much more complicated and difficult to use. So the users are much happier with the ease of use in Eos. We were able to also integrate Eos with our new CRM and our ERP system. This has allowed us to get a much better workflow for our sales people, and to pass the quotes directly to our ERP system as sales orders, which has saved a lot of time from re-rentering information from the quote into a sales order.

All of these improvements are making a very positive impact on our business and has been received well by our sales team that has to use the system on a daily basis. As I mentioned before, we were able to implement two new systems (EosCPQ and CRM) in less than 6 months in order to time the launch with a slower business period to make it easier for our team to adapt to the new systems. None of this would have been possible without Eos or the great team at Verenia that helped us pull this off. I would highly recommend this to anyone that's considering a new CPQ.

What do you dislike?

EosCPQ is a relatively new software that has been improving and adding new features quickly. It does everything we need it too, but I am excited to see them continue to add to some of the base features. For example, better handling of foreign currencies and integration with UPS or other shippers would be welcomed additions.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This tool has helped us to solve the following business problems:

+ Duplicate customer information existing across multiple systems.

+ Redundant effort re-entering quotes as sales orders.

+ Difficulty creating new product models quickly and easily.

+ No ability to manage our sales process from CRM through quoting.

"Quality product with very responsive customer service and ongoing positive updates"

What do you like best?

The software is very customizeable, flexible and is extremely helpful for quoting the various configurations of a wide range of 20,000+ part numbers.

The team at Verenia is also very responsive and works diligently to help solve any challenges. They really go above what was expected from a vendor.

Overall, this software offers more easy of use for administrators, ensures accurate part numbers are quoted and decreases the time required for sales to get quotes to customers.

What do you dislike?

There were a few, small features that were lacking, but the team worked hard to implement our suggestions in an update and help us in creating alternate ways to do what we needed to do to solve our business challenges.

Be sure you have a plan going into implementation. We spent a considerable amount of time ensuring the product build we were going to have was going to work for us in the long run. Upfront planning will help both you and the EosCPQ team have a successful implementation.

Decrease the time it takes for users to send quotes to customers.

Ensure accuracy of customer information by implement the quoting software with our CRM customer database.

"Easy and effective "

What do you like best?

It is easy to use even for people without much coding experience. It has simplified our ordering process and made troubleshooting problems easier

"Helpful Team with Decent Product"

What do you like best?

The support from their team was great. They worked with us quickly to answer questions and resolve issues. Like that they are paired with NetSuite and can support us with the integration.

What do you dislike?

Limitations with NetSuite. Seems like the configurator itself is robust but is limited in it's ability due to it's tie in with NetSuite. There has been a couple of instances with confusion with billing. Nothing too crazy. The billing issue was resoled.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Contract and product building for the auto industry. Use of assemblies and transferring information from the configurator to a NetSuite sales order.

Provides an easy to use application for our sales team and provides an overall solution for our company.

"Streamlining the quoting process"

What do you like best?

The easy to use wizard allows our sales reps to be guided through the quoting process. This removes errors and re-dos. It also allows new sales reps to get up to speed faster.

What do you dislike?

Some of the integration and process from opportunity to quote could be smoother, but I am confident that will work work itself out over time.

What do you like best?

It will at time slow down and freeze while we are running searches.

"Intuitive and Easy"

What do you like best?

It really is very Intuitive and flows well. It has the power to do about anything, yet is also simple enough that you don't have to get extremely deep into it for it to work for the more simpler projects you have.

What do you dislike?

There really isn't much to dislike.

With the mass amount of custimization you can do I could see some companies and users could feel it was complicated to make if they are trying to do a very complicated configuration design without very basic programming knowledge. The product is VERY Powerful and you can customize anything you want with the right amount of programming...but if you don't have that knowledge to do the complicated actions you may require you could have issues with it. Most designers of configurations will not have this problem at all though.

As an Administrator just breathe, change is good, remind yourself of that on day 1. By day 5 you will wonder why you even had any anxiety.

For an End User it is simple...just Enjoy!

We are using this product to make custom built products that have the potential to have thousands to millions of possible configurations. This enables us to have one simple way to do each product versus thousands or more part numbers for a particular configuration.

The benefit of this product versus others is just the ease of designing it to look the way you want. Just the basic layout and flow of the product is so intuitive both as a configuration designer and as an end user is just so simple to navigate.

"Very user friendly..."

What do you like best?

We manufacture custom light bars and other vehicle related warning products. The configurator is very easy to use and gives a visual of what the bar will look like. It also automatically calculates their discount. We used to use an Excel Document which sometimes had errors in the pricing. This eliminates that issue.

What do you dislike?

I agree with Matt Driy, it would be nice to cut and paste configurations. Many agencies use the same configuration it would save time from entering another quote...

"Sole CPQ - highly customizable solution"

What do you like best?

Sole CPQ provided the ability to setup questionnaire type packages simplifying the process of order entry.

What do you dislike?

The setup of the packages is not as easy as I would hope. Also, once a Sales Order has been configured, it cannot be reconfigured. The lines on the Sales Order have to be removed and then configured from scratch.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are an advertising company with a variety of packages with differing structures. This configurator allows for the setup of a questionnaire type form simplifying the process of defining the components of a campaign/event. This minimizes the amount of time our Sales Reps need to take to define the initial contract.

"Improving accuracy and growith."

What do you like best?

This program is wonderful. The movement from start to finish makes this program a blessing. I love that I can reduce the possibility of errors and increase the accuracy of pricing.

There really isn't anything to dislike about this program. It would be nice if I could have a tool to implement like this in other aspects of my job.

"The Sky's The Limit"

What do you like best?

We chose EOS CPQ to replace an older platform that could not keep up with the growth of our business. Our requirements are intense with over 200 models and 1000's of options. Our site is used by both retail and our large dealer base. I have 18 years of experience in I.T., and not a lot of great experiences with consultants. Verenia is the first company that I can truly say, genuinely felt like an extension of our own workforce, side by side with us, helping make it the best it could be. As a programmer, I love that using this platform gave me a great place to start without locking me into a box. We worked with Verenia to accomplish everything we wanted and then some. Their product has grown throughout the 2 years we have been using it, because they have implemented several new features to meet our needs. Their product is constantly evolving and all of their customers benefit from it.

What do you dislike?

Initially we had some issues with speed do to the shear size of our product offering. The Verenia team met the challenge head on and introduced a new way to divide it up, while still keeping maintenance consolidated and simple. Now the speed is phenomenal. The overall look of the site when we first went live was not particularly polished. Since then, the Verenia team helped us design a great template that allowed us to brand our site beyond what we could do out of the box.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have built a living, breathing configurator that grows with our business. In addition, we now have a complete solution for parts and warranty. Whenever a new requirement comes up, we are able to meet it. It used to require 2 full time employees to maintain it, but using EOS, it only takes 1. I used their Apps to build several interfaces that are easily used by the product admin who is not a programmer. We have developed some tools that allow our Dealer base to avoid the purchase of a second type of Dealer Management Software that costs upwards of $5000. They can do everything within our site, and they are thrilled about it. I've built other utilities that allow our Vendors to keep out with our demands in real time, and provide information back to us that is vital to being proactive in production. It takes a lot of effort, a solid understanding of the products, and a plan, beyond that.... The Sky's The Limit with EOS CPQ.

"We purchased the custom kit configurator from Sole to help us with our customized assemblies. "

What do you like best?

Pro's:

1. The configurator pulls the items and the associated pricing (it will pull the pricing level of the customer) and gives you a total price and shows the quantities of each item in the custom assembly

2. You can put rules in the configutor. We used this for our pouch colors. SOme pouches come in certain colors, and others come in more. We were able to use the rules to limit what colors show as an option

3. The configurator takes all of the items and will convert into a work order, the downfall is you have to save the sales order, and then click configure work order. It would be nice if this was done automatically

What do you dislike?

Con's:

1. The setup is quite intensive and tedious, however, we did receive a lot of help from Verenia's team. Once it is set up, it is easy to maintain and change if necessary

It is much easier now for our sales and customer service teams to give customers a quote for custom assemblies. In the past it was a tedious exercise and the information was entered multiple times. It is nice to only have to enter the information once using Verenia.

"Great software coupled with excellent customer support."

What do you like best?

The Verenia team was very responsive to questions and concerns during the implementation process. They kept to deadlines, and were always willing to help. The rules system within EosCPQ is very logical and capable of attaining a high level of customization. Anything not achievable through rules was achieveable through the actions. After go-live the sales team seemed to pick up using EosCPQ quickly, and appreciated the ease of use.

What do you dislike?

There was very little to dislike about this software, and company. The documentation for the CPQ could use a little bit of updating, however the Verenia employees I worked with were very helpful when clarification was needed. My experience working alongside Verenia was entierly positive.

Take the time to plan out the implementation as the project did get complicated at times.

"Great Software and Fantastic Partners"

What do you like best?

EOS CPQ was everything we wanted in a quoting system. It has allowed us to fully customize the software to fit the needs of the sales team and our customers.

Flexible framework that allows you to tailor the experience for your users. We have been able to make many enhancements over our previous quoting solution, while not losing any functionality. We have also been able to integrate EOS with other business systems to make a seamless process from first contact with the customer in CRM to the order being placed in our ERP tool. This has allowed us to eliminate duplicate data entry and streamline these processes.

What do you dislike?

There were a few features early on that we lacking that were must haves for us and the Verenia team stepped up and built many of them into the base functionality of the system. They have been great partners to work with and we continue to look forward to working together!

Between the EOS CPQ software and the new CRM we brought on, we have provided our sales team the tools needed to be successful and drive new business. We have been able to automate functionality and integrate all of our Business Systems together. This has reduced duplicate data entry and significantly cleaned up our record data allowing for better direct marketing opportunities.

"User Friendly and Fast"

What do you like best?

as a new employee, i love the fact it is very easy to use. I was able to login and immediately use with some training. it has allowed me to learn as I go. it's straight forward and simple. i can complete a job in 1/2 the time it would take me to search for all the information, instead it's just a click away.

We can also customize this program as our options increase for our clients. our company is expanding in the rail and marine markets and therefore so will our workload.

What do you dislike?

I have not found anything to dislike about this program.

Our customers' orders are custom so we need to cater to all of their requests. What do you like best?

The software does the hard work for us. Training new employees is as simple as sending them link & setting up a password. We're able to utilize employees for their true talents and not bore them with menial calculations.

I dislike that we have yet to take the initiative to start the next project.

We use the software to look at custom manufactured components & purchased parts then apply a cost mark up structure commensurate with labor and overhead required to complete. We set it up with easily adjustable parameters so we can take into consideration quantity, demand, and price fluxations but still arrive to the same answer no matter who we assign to look up the information. We anticipate our year end cost evaluation to be much more productive and precise. Our next phase will be to allow our customers to generate their our secure, customized quotations so the information is available the instant they want it. Our customers are happier because they're getting faster, more accurate information. We're happy because our customers are happy and our lives are easier.

"The Solution to our Problem"

What do you like best?

With minimal training for its use, I can knock out a quote in just a couple minutes. There is a visual layout of the product I've configured which reduces the opportunity for errors. Previously, we used Live PDF files with drop downs to make selections. This was tedious and time consuming and quite often, our customers would select an option that they didn't want. Not anymore!

What do you dislike?

dislike??? nothing. but I'll like it even more when its fully functional from my Android phone....

problems solved:

ease of use=time savnings

visual feedback of configured product=no more errors on order submission

Live PDFs were not easily reusable for repeat orders=just pull up a configuration and "copy" it!

"Great Product"

What do you like best?

The product is easy to use. Very user friendly and the customer support has been quick to resolve any issues that arise.

There was some miscommunication in the beginning on what was needed and we had a few issues that took a while to resolve. Everything is find now, however it took longer than anticipated.

"Quick, Easy, Customizable and a NO BRAINER!"

What do you like best?

It is nice to be able to quickly put together a quote with just a push of a button. Quoting our customers used to take several minutes, and sometimes hours for the more intricate products, but now it takes merely seconds. We are able to deliver pricing in a timely manner to ours customers now and have significantly reduced our error rate when quoting. Our requirements were very specific and we were able to work with the Verenia team to customize a program that is tailored to our needs. The customization was quick and pain free and Verenia was there every step of the way with suggestions and guidance.

What do you dislike?

Nothing is disliked. Like any new system there are ocassional bugs, but they are quickly repaired.

"Easy to use"

What do you like best?

This software is very easy to navigate and use.

It's not easy to sort for quotes in the system. I would recommend putting in a better search bar or options.

"Sole Configurator with NetSuite"

What do you like best?

Very easy to use once it's all setup. Replaced Salesforce.com CRM and helped us make our NetSuite CRM better and easier to use.

Difficult to change line items once you have gone all the way through the config session

"Very User Friendly "

What do you like best?

Pricing, options, and information needed is available in just a click of a button. Saves time when quoting product to our customers, as we can customize it based on our customer's needs. It reduces pricing errors and allows us to respond back to customers quickly and efficiently.

What do you dislike?

Nothing I dislike, I haven't had any issues so far.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have a wide range of product offerings and this software allows us to customize options as needed, reducing the room for error when processing orders. It provides us the tools to accurately quote product quickly and efficiently.

"Bennington Marine Design Center Interface"

What do you like best?

The flexibility to work with our diversified product. Customer service has been AMAZING!

What do you dislike?

We were in a rush to launch and meet a deadline so we didn't have the time we needed to make improvements until after launch.

The flexibility of this product is amazing!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have an extremely complex product and this allows us to improve our order error rates. This flows down all the way into production, where we are seeing vast improvements.

"Custom Configurator"

What do you like best?

Ease of use, will be very helpful to our company and easier to use than our last system

What do you dislike?

The length of the set up time. We have been working for months to get this integrated correctly.

This solves our ability to configure custom kits and price them out correctly in a timely fashion

"Not bad for newb :)"

What do you like best?

I like how streamlined and user friendly it is - the prompts are extremely helpful and its nice not having to go back to the header when you need to change the type of seat.

What do you dislike?

The part specific items that were missing. Pricing was a bit of a nightmare to deal with - but I think those are things that could have been avoided if the team tested more prior to launch.

"Easy to use once set up"

What do you like best?

The configurator is easy to use once it's set up. It allows customers and staff to customize a product quickly and monitor the change in price as they do it.

What do you dislike?

Set up was lengthy and there was some glitches along the way.

Great product if you're willing to put the work in to get this implemented.

The configurator has helped make the customization easier on our office and our customers. It has completely changed our old customization process and we'll benefit from the extra time that'll be opened up.

"Room for improvement"

What do you like best?

It's doesn't time out or run out of licenses.

What do you dislike?

The pricing is off, and lot's of part numbers or item's needed for a certain seat or particular client is not in the configurator. Have to use old configurator as a cheat sheet for certain orders.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Data entry.

It runs faster, it's doesn't lock you out, it will not let you hit save if your missing something, and it makes you you look more carefully at your order.

"EosCloudStore Is A Great Time Saver!"

What do you like best?

In a work environment where pricing accuracy is important this tool has helped me to be both accurate and consist with my pricing to our customers. It has removed the possibility of errors and mis-quotes. I LOVE IT!

"Great end user interface"

What do you like best?

This software allows for a seamless and direct quoting platform and configuration for the end user. This saves time, money, and also provides a polished and professional output. It also allows for built in forecasting and follow up.

What do you dislike?

Not much, this software is very robust and allows for modification of configuration on the fly.

"I LOVE THIS SOFTWARE!!!!"

What do you like best?

i love the ease of use, simple but very effective interface. There isn't any lagging, and the support is fast and accurate.

What do you dislike?

I haven't found anything to dislike yet. What I do know is that if there are any issues, they will be resolved immediately.

Orders are getting entered faster with less errors or crashes.

"Turned around our order entry process"

What do you like best?

Our order entry people love it. Faster, easier and accurate. It has become a great time saver for our company. More importantly, it has allowed us to being people in with minimal training. Mahany used to take over one year to train now takes a week.

What do you dislike?

Honestly, I am just an executive sponsor so I am not involved day to day. However, I have received zero complaints.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

High turnover and high leaning curve required for our old process. This system allow us to get someone up and running in days stead of months.

"Great product. Great staff "

What do you like best?

The best thing about this product is the staff members. They are very helpful and get issues resolved as quick as possible

Dislike that the fact they only have America contact so have to work around this

This is solving a huge part of the process of manufacturing out products as it simplifies how the date is entered and gives out information that users need

"Purchased for our custom assemblies. "

What do you like best?

This product is efficient, and easy to use. It is a much better system process than our last.

What do you dislike?

Implementation took longer than expected to setup. There are a few other features we wish it had.

It saves time and has cleared up some bottlenecks in the work flow process.
