being a consultant, following are the few best thing which I liked the most in Vienna Advantage as compared with any other Tier-I ERP. All ERP will have common modules/features/functionalities, but they stand tall when its been compared with uniqueness
- you can have extra task assignments apart from the workflow defined for a document.
For Eg: Lets consider a simple PO workflow where the Purchase Officer creates, and Purchase Manager verifies and approves. Doing this, the workflow is over, and you are done with the PO process. now, what about following up on the delivery with the Vendor, checking when the shipment arrives etc.. This can be achieved by assigning Tasks to someone to follow up, check shipment status, communicate through email. All activities can be done within Vienna for that particular PO as reference. the assigned tasks will come as a notification to that selected User's Dash board. this enables Vienna users to be within the system for any extra activities, which results in having a complete Eco System for the Customer
- Reporting Flexibility - Vienna has go inbuilt Report Writer to create different types of Financial reports with drill down and drill through functionality which can be later exported/emailed
Reports can be created with different hierarchical structure /formats apart from the actual structure defined for the COA. this gives flexibility for Finance Department to produce reports as per Company's need, Management need, department's need and the like.
- Document Subscription
this is yet another feature which enables users to chat each other with reference to the document they have subscribed.
- Real time synch with your outlook/ Google contacts and appointments
this enables the user to see all their contacts/appointments within ERP and initiates communication without missing any appointments
