Great for top of the funnel as well as accelerating deals already in the pipeline

What do you like best?

VisualizeROI’s takes an open source architecture based approach, which enables them to create beautiful visuals (both on the Web and integrated with your existing PPT/ Word/ PDF output templates), seamless integration with marketing automation tools and SFDC, and easy publication of tools for demand gen, sales enablement, and channel enablement. They have nice analytics, and offer a flexible self-service option.

If you believe in value based selling and marketing, then, you should talk to these guys. Whether you have nothing in place today, an Excel tool, or even a web-based tool, I believe you can likely get a bigger bang for your buck with the VisualizeROI platform.

What do you dislike?

It's a SaaS product, which is has pros and cons. The good is that it's way more sophisticated than anything else you could build yourself + it's constantly improving. The con is that there is a recurring fee to use the product. Although, the ongoing, included support has been awesome.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Drives top of funnel high value leads and accelerate deals already in the pipeline. Provide sales with a tool that helps prioritize Distil Networks over competing projects.

What do you like best?

Turns prospects and leads into qualified and measurable sales.

It also easy to convert your value models into visually engaging components you can deploy to your website, social channels, or email campaigns. Help your channel partners sell your value more effectively too.

What do you dislike?

The reps under me tell me that the analytics and tracking to measure every step of the sales process makes it convoluted. The reps think they are being tracked.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Great for start-ups or businesses on boarding new sales reps.The customer can collaborate easily in a dynamic, visual application with the customer around the value story.

From individual performance metrics, to data about how clients utilized your model, you will have the analytics available to measure and improve all areas of client engagement

Customer Review - Large Player in Software, Switching, and Data Centers

What do you like best?

VROI presents a clear and concise process for building models with them. First, our team would create the model in excel with the parameters that VROI set forth, and then send the finished excel model to VROI. Then the visualize team would quickly turn around the model in their platform. After some testing, the model would be good to go. The fact that we created the model in excel first, was a great best practice, as our company was able to keep the IP for each model we built.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I would say I disliked was not being able to expand the product into other areas as quickly as I would have liked. This is not actually a reflection of the ability of VROI, but more of how quickly we could push things through internally. There were also one or two capabilities that we wanted that VROI had to innovate around, but that was resolved quickly and built in for us, which was great.

Recommendations to others considering the product

VROI provides a few key differentiators from my perspective, after implementing systems like this several times.

1. Back-end analytics - from reviewing 10+ vendors VisualizeROI was the only vendor that truly provided built in analytics that were impactful. Not just usage, but data trends such as discount and close rates are extremely helpful when running a value-selling program.

2. Ease of use- the ease for actual users of the platform provided a simple and straightforward path to building the value model. The system literally keeps the user moving along the path each step of the way with almost full-proof methods.

3. Support - the support of the team allowed us to consistently innovate and ensure that we were on track with our implementation for each model. It was a nice piece of the puzzle to have VROI expertise reviewing each model.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

At our company, we were trying to consolidate disparate excel and power-points models into one consolidated proposal platform. We went through a selection process evaluating 15+ vendors as well as internal resources. After looking at things such as user interface, tool capabilities, output documents, price, and innovation; VisualizeROI came out on top. VROI provided the integration of data gathering, financial models, and output documents we needed to create a robust proposal platform for our software buying programs.

Ease of Use

What do you like best?

The product is straightforward, easy to use, and most importantly can be exported to a PowerPoint presentation.

What do you dislike?

I don't see any negatives with the tool.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It allows us to introduce a new product to market and position it in the most effective way possible.

Okay Analytics Tool

What do you like best?

The tool is able to produce charts with current sales data and data from the year before to show how they compare. It then can be exported which is nice.

What do you dislike?

The load time is very slow and can the numbers aren't always accurate because of that.

Look at all similar softwares and see which one meets your company's needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Checking sales numbers and projections for the month, quarter, and year. It lays out the year before number to see where you are falling short or exceeding projections.

Needs work

What do you like best?

When it works, which is some of the time, it helps provide a sense of ROI for things that are often hard to quantify.

What do you dislike?

Support for the tool is lacking, to say the least. Customer service requests are not handled quickly or effectively. In order to use the tool I advise to learn all the bugs first or you will find yourself slamming into walls repeatedly.
