"Excellent Marketing Automation tool "

What do you like best?

The tool is fairly easy to use. It is extremely reliable. After the initial set up we did not need any developer involvement and the marketing team was able to handle setting up of the various journeys pretty easily. I really like the omnichannel support here and we are able to target customers using channels that work for them.

What do you dislike?

The reporting dashboard could be more intuitive. It is currently not that user-friendly and we have to do a lot of back and forth with our systems to have reports generated in the format that we can use for internal reporting. We are also not yet able to integrate with Freshsales (our CRM). Ideally would prefer to have that.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I think it's a great marketing automation tool. We have evaluated several tools out there and are definitely happy with the choice of going with Webengage. The onboarding and support team are simply awesome and very prompt with their response and solutions. Highly recommend Webengage to anyone considering a solid Marketing Automation Tool.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using Webengage, to push users through our funnel.

We also use Webengage for customer engagement and retention purposes.

This tool has helped us with not just customer acquisition but also customer retention and engagement.

"Software is buggy & support team doesn't handle to our requests timely"

What do you like best?

There is nothing good to like. I hate the guts of support team. The way they deal with customers.

What do you dislike?

Worst platform ever used. Their software is full of bugs. Even the basic feature of email- marketing has not been mastered properly. More worse is their support team, who doesn't take accountability of their buggy software. They keep on transferring call to some other person to procrastinate the issue. My humble request to their team, please accept that your software is full of bugs so that one can figure out a way to use this buggy software. I hope somebody from your team will contact me after reading this review. Thanks

"Fit the bill perfectly feature-wise and cost-wise"

What do you like best?

Realtime (or near realtime) push notifications triggered by campaigns -- highly sought after, very powerful feature.

What do you dislike?

Nothing at all. Service has been great and features are exhaustive.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Do your due diligence with trial accounts in the dashboards for various competitors and keep in mind that they do not all offer the same feature sets. For example, realtime push notifications and triggered push notifications (something we rely upon) were rare among competition.

Sending marketing/retention push notifications and in-app messages to users based on behavioral patterns, segments, and campaigns.

- webengage powers our complete customer retention and engagement process.

- We have defined our journeys and interaction steps which automates a lot of user tracking and sending out messages/notifications/ SMS and emails very easily

- Central management system for marketing to send information across channels

- It has helped in improving our retention cohorts

- Has helped in new user registration

- Has improved our new and old user conversion

"Amazing experience with Webengage"

What do you like best?

Creation of customer journey to automate all your communication with customers. Technical and support staff is very helpful

What do you dislike?

Analytics is not detailed compared to Google Analytics

We are using Webengage as a marketing automation platform. We are using it for customer communication and engagement through sending push notification, In App notification. The major benefit of this platform is that you can automate the process through customer journey.

"Web Engage provided a great way think about automated visual marketing. "

What do you like best?

The customizability. I appreciated that Web Engage allowed me to build out an approach that was specific to my needs.

The interface at times felt a bit confusing.
