"Good software for integrating business applications "

What do you like best?

We used Webmethods to integrate our LFE quoting tool to our ERP system (BaaN). Written using Java, we were able to get all of our integration needs met. We found it to be a robust solution.

What do you dislike?

We had some issues with performance. This could have been more a result of the the infrastructure and not so much the code or software. I found it time-consuming and painful to troubleshoot errors.

Recommendations to others considering the product

A solid tool for automating and integrating a lot of business applications. Extensible albeit a bit clunky.

"Effective but difficult to use middleware application"

What do you like best?

Can do a lot to meet integration needs, can also run java as well as provides visual UI to enable technical functionality

What do you dislike?

Steep learning curve, not easy to get the hang of, very expensive

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you require middleware and you have technical knowhow this may be a good option, but there are some better integration software products in respect to usability
