"Customizable and Robust Platform"

What do you like best?

You're able to utilize the Workfront DAM's robust features to customize the platform to your own needs. You can create and populate metadata forms that help other users locate assets easily.

What do you dislike?

It does glitch more frequently than other asset management platforms I use. My connection between Workfront and the Workfront DAM gets interrupted often, which means I have to take extra steps to push my assets from one place to the other. It's also dependent upon users to properly input data.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Be prepared to invest a lot of time upfront to customize the platform to your needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We've completely revolutionized the way we store and retrieve assets using the Workfront DAM. They're much more easy to search and download, and the metadata forms can help us find everything we need to know without having to reach out to project owners. It's drastically reduced the amount of time we spend at the beginning of projects, especially when we need to use assets from previous campaigns.

"Amazing Project Management and Asset Management Tool!"

What do you like best?

Workfront is an amazing cloud based project management tool and digital asset management tool useful for any company big or small. With their organized UI and easy to use platform this product is very easily learnable by anyone in the department and provides so much organization in return. Also the project is hosted in the cloud so its availability is very reliable and easy to access from everywhere.

What do you dislike?

As workfront provides many advantages such as organization and management, it is not to be used as a first time solution to asset management and project management. If not used properly assets and tasks can be miss placed. Also during contract cultivation for the project we were not able to purchase a short term solution. Contract lengths were given in year intervals.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If your company is producing large volumes of collaborative work, Workfront DAM is a great central repository that is always finding a way to make itself better for its customers. Also if you're looking for a cloud based solution where employees are able to access the bulk of their work in a single platform Workfront DAM is certainly the way to go.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

WIth Workfront digital asset management we are able to streamline the way we collaborate and share versions of different projects the team is working on while being able to see what everyone in the team is contributing in one central repository. We are able to save time by not duplicating efforts and in return team members can work more fluidly by being able to pick up from where others left off.

"Billable Utilization tool"

What do you like best?

This system has helped us to determine and track billable time for clients and general overhead hours to help further price out client contracts.

What do you dislike?

It is a very complicated system that takes much dedication to work out all of the kinks to use the system to its full utilization.

Take the time to properly learn and onboard the system to avoid potential hiccups later that will affect the entire system and integrations.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Tracking of time and what the time is being used for, accountability on projects for employees, better determination of deadlines and how to hit targeted goals/date with allocated resources.

"The ALL in ONE solution."

What do you like best?

I love Workfront's D.A.M. software because it allows me to keep track of all the different open tasks that I have and gives me insight into the project with just a quick glance. I know what stage each project is in and I can ping anyone who is working on a project directly from the software.

What do you dislike?

I haven't really found anything I don't like about this software yet.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Take the leap! Its a great product and their customer success team will ensure you're set up correctly and your open tasks are migrated over.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Workfront allows me to follow up on all of my open projects and nothing slips through the cracks anymore. Its also a great tool to use in your one on ones with your manager so you can review the status of each project.

"Granular project tracking"

It remembers old jobs you've previously worked on

Old jobs that are closed remain on screen and clutter screen until you manually remove

"Store Your Digital Assets"

What do you like best?

Workfront DAM has been essential in our company for several reasons. We use the digital library to store and share all of our assets within the company. It has been a safe and effective tool. It has helped me stay organized and kept me on track.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I have found to dislike is that a few times I have called customer support, they were not very helpful. The tutorials online have been more effective.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Using a platform that many people access to retrieve digital files. The system doesn't get overwhelmed with a lot of people using it at once.

i dislike customer support and that they usually aren't helpful at all

"God Project Centralized"

What do you like best?

I only use WorkFront to centralize projects. The truth is that it worked 100%. But the truth is that it could be much better.

What do you dislike?

With an interface on its website and a perfect support also pec that does not promote its other 2 good profits, the collaboration between teams and the simplicity of combining different work environments.

Like I said, companies that want to decentralize projects with different leaders and teams in different places.

"Great product for housing assets "

What do you like best?

I like that we can provide partners access to our digital assets through Workfront. It’s a low cost method to share our assets across organizations.

What do you dislike?

I don’t like the UX of workfront. I feel like it is clunky and difficult to follow unless you’ve been using the product for a while.

We use Workfront DAM internally to share digital assets within the organization as well as externally to share our digital assets with partners who would like to co brand with us.

What do you like best?

It's easy to use and very intuitive. The PM capabilities are wonderful.

What do you dislike?

Nothing really, it's a really great product however product support is tough outside of using your retainer hours.

You can assign projects to people and give detailed tasks for them to do. It is very good when your working with a deadline and need to assign tasks to users.
