"Best Affordable Software for any PMO"

What do you like best?

You can’t beat the price for the quality of software you will be receiving. The software is easy to use and can be customized to fit the needs of your business

What do you dislike?

As the PM I wish the tool had at least view only access for the “My Resources” tab. Only the Resource Manager has access to this information.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This software will solve the problem of poorly tracking projects and inefficiency. The software will keep track for you and you can quickly glance to check the status of projects and reach out to team members who are assigned to projects in jeopardy. I use the software as Project Manager to efficiently keep track of my customers, teams, and resource allocation. I can easily retrieve documents stored for each project and notify members of the team at the same time. I love this product.

"Really like the Project Workflow"

What do you like best?

I like that it makes easy to do the basics of project management but still has the powerful features (like portfolio management and financial tracking) when you need them. I also like how the users can keep using MS Project if they choose.

What do you dislike?

Nothing significant comes to mind but I think they could make it easier to bulk add physical resources like conference rooms, special hardware, etc. that can be reserved during a project.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use the software most often to simply manage our projects. We also use it for more traditional PPM activities like helping us determine the order we should tackle our projects in order to maximize resource utilization. We also use it for a lot of reporting to upper management. We believe the biggest benefits have been related to better allocating resources to projects that address our management priorities but it has also helped to have a tool enforce a process that we can all follow.
