Great for quick social program setup

What do you like best?

Wyng makes it so easy to create contests, polls and landing pages through Facebook.

What do you dislike?

I wish there were a way to easily use the content that participants upload for the contests.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would definitely recommend it. It makes setting up a social contest super easy. It's also great to be able to get quick feedback from customers.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The social channel that we manage with our client is all about customer loyalty and building a community of people that can engage with the brand. The contests and other things we're able to build so quickly and easily through Wyng can make this happen quickly and easily. Our customers feel like they have a direct access to the brand and also feel like they're in a community of people like them.

Offerpop is Okay

What do you like best?

Offerpop does a good job of visualizing social media results from a live website.

What do you dislike?

It's integration with Facebook tabs leaves something to be desired. Tabs are difficult to create, and they have zero to no practical mobile functionality.

Recommendations to others considering the product

User offerpop when you want to integrate social into your website, but don't bother with the Facebook tabs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Creating a Facebook tab for a client's Facebook contest. Visuals are great, it's the user interface that is difficult to navigate.

Offerpop wows with a visual marketing scheme and fresh style that is compelling.

What do you like best?

I enjoy the idea behind the software; having visuals, storytelling and user experience drive the final product. Makes for a very engaging experience. The fact that it displays well on a tablet and on mobile is a big plus for me too as not all products will do that.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes I would prefer more text options, like getting to see blog post headers mingled with the images on a tablet/mobile format. But not much jumps out as a strong "dislike". Reminds me a lot of Instagram, which can't be a bad thing. Adding in more options for people who want to incorporate with a e-commerce platform would be nice. Like reporting you can have fro the dashboard or even an option to change the style of graphing you see for the output.

Recommendations to others considering the product

If you have a marketing budget for something like this and need something that will continue to grow outside of the work you put in because users are engaged, this might be the tool for you.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Solves problems with user engagement and getting potential customers to stay and look at different products. The big benefit I think is to have so much social presence come naturally without having to force it. Another benefit is just being able to generate a large amount of ideas from users quickly.

Tried and true

What do you like best?

When I first used Offerpop, I thought it was a great service and really one of a kind. I had a bit of loyalty to it because of that and everyone I've worked with there has been absolutely helpful.

What do you dislike?

The price! With other platforms like Wayin gaining ground, I was expecting a bit more leeway with pricing and test trials.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were looking to run a UGC-based campaign and needed a way to aggregate all the content in one place so others could find it. We also wanted to act as the gatekeeper for what to pull in and what to keep out.
