"I am the Director of Marketing for Demmon Partners. I have 13 years in property management."

What do you like best?

I love that there are several services combined into one interface. Resident portal, website customization, social marketing, re-targeting marketing, and more.

What do you dislike?

I do not like that I have to submit a ticket when I have trouble with the site. I prefer to have a rep I can contact and get my questions answered over the phone or in person.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Implement one service at a time. Do not go live on everything at once. Also, have 1 or 2 properties test services before going live. make sure your trainer is fully trained and able to assist staff members on sites.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a way to allow residents to pay online. Resident portal with online payments makes this easy. We also needed a better way to communicate to our residents and prospects. the email, social and marketing sites allow us to complete these tasks with very little effort. Staff productivity has increased and our marketing efforts have improved greatly.

"pratique mais un peu dépassé"

What do you like best?

- Beaucoup d'options, réactifs, accessible tout sur une interface.

- J'ai travaillé quelques mois dessus dans l'entreprise qui était en recherche d'un nouveau logiciel, les premiers jours, le logiciel était agréable mais à force on en voit vite les limites.

- Prix correct

What do you dislike?

- interface un peu datée, n'est plus à la page, aurait bien besoin d'une remise à neuf.

- La suite logicielle n'a pas été retenu dans mon entreprise mais si une grosse mise à jour était déployée, cela changerait pas mal les choses.

"As Outdated As It Gets"

What do you like best?

This software is from the 70’s? It sucks. Needs a completely new face!!! Hard to use. Slow.

What do you dislike?

Everything. Literally. This is a potentially great software but it is just so old and slow that it’s difficut to maneuver and manage.

Change the face and update it

"Yardi is efficient and easy to use!"

What do you like best?

I like that it automates the process for move-ins, move-outs, transfers, customer payments, and comes with the tools to create rental agreements and addendums. I always use the feature of sending invoices, late letters and notices via mail or e-mail is already built into the software.

I also enjoy that this product is web based. Our company has several properties and I can easily control all aspects of rents, utilities, and work orders from any location!

What do you dislike?

I would like to see more options in the help section and more details in the manual such step by step how to's.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We currently have document management issues. I've realized the importance of going electronic and how many benefits it has.

"Industry standard software that does the job -"

What do you like best?

Knowledge from other PM software transfers well to YARDI.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes cumbersome, overly complicated and at times not end-user friendly or intuitive.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Once you get the hang of it, fairly straightforward to use and can be integrated with your ILS's.

As a company, we migrated to YARDI from an in-house solution so this has been a big step forward for us.

"Great all-in-one"

What do you like best?

This is a helpful software that has given us a more central base for marketing, prospective tenants, and servicing residents. We use Yardi regularly with little trouble and have had great experiences with their staff and support team.

What do you dislike?

Little technical trouble but still some hiccups here and there.

"Yardi insight"

What do you like best?

Yardi was good, it could have been a little more user-friendly.

What do you dislike?

It was not as user-friendly as I hoped for. Took awhile to learn and train the staff.
