The recording options are fantastic! I love that we can record meetings or even screen sharing sessions. You can share one screen or both, write on the meeting projection of the screen, or we've even used it to record interviews.
Zoom can, at times, be a bit clunky. There are some un-intuitive setup issues and restrictions that make, for example, having a secretary set up a meeting on your behalf not a great solution (if you want to record, which is the feature I like most).
Our organization started using Zoom as a video conferencing solution for faculty, staff, and students. In this regard, it is a very useful tool. We've also dropped our Service Desk's subscription to Bomgar (a remote desktop tool) and now use Zoom instead. We're saving a ton of money from that change over, and have discovered other uses for Zoom such as screen sharing/screen recording, sound recording, video recording, etc.
