It was extremely easy to organize my public event and invite people to it, especially to a free event. they did all the hard work for me by creating a template that looked professional and organizing all the attendee's data. I could even export the e-mails to our mailchimp account and link the event to our facebook page. Our restaurant had a similar system built in and other restaurants were using this instead because it was better, and it is free. Being free was a huge plus, we never had to pay for anything and even just by using this site it boosted our market reach.
Nothing at first, however if you are to use them to do a paid event their fee is a bit high. I would just charge people at the door instead but the events we did were all free so I never had this problem. This was a turnoff to my sister when I tried helping her do a dinner fundraiser through this event. Despite that, I have recommended it often to many of my marketing colleges despite the higher fee which is added on to the consumer at checkout.
They have options to link social media, have on site check ins, an app to go along with checking in at the event on a mobile device and often ask for feedback and always seem to be ready to help. Very customer and technology driven.
We saved a lot of time and labor by utilizing this software instead of doing it all by e-mail the previous year. It was also extremely easy for people to cancel their RSVP or for us to add additional tickets once they sold out. I was also able to see each individual attendee, which ticket the registered for and the quantity.
