"Marketing made easy"

What do you like best?

Simple UI - The Marketo UI can be easily navigated. Finding where things are is easy and self-explanatory.

Good analytics, business intelligence, Periodical reports - Marketo has the ability to generate personalised reports for each user in order to track and analyse our own activities in the database.

Behavioural tracking (activity log) - Marketo's tracking of website visitor's behaviour is impressive. It provides a comprehensive overview of each lead's activity.

What do you dislike?

Behavioural tracking presentation - the way each lead's website activity is presented is not very easy to digest.

Integration with MS Dynamics CRM - the integration is not perfect. The full benefits of "automation" cannot be reaped in its true sense because the information fields in Marketo cannot always be easily mapped to the desired forms in MS Dynamics CRM.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I would recommend Marketo to anyone in need of a good marketing automation tool. The easy set-up with landing pages on your website spanning to the lead nurturing and email marketing functionalities in the tool itself provides for a comprehensive solution.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Setting up and tracking relevant KPIs is easier with the use of Marketo's lead scoring. This helps us constantly play around with, test and optimise different lead scoring models and ultimaltely tweak it in a way that is most representative of our revenue generating criteria.

Routine marketing campaigns are made easier and can be set-up and managed with minimal technical knowledge.

We have been able to step up our content marketing game and deliver relevant content to the most appropriate leads with the help of Marketo
