Trello provides easy to use tools that allow us to manage products without some of the more stringent features of other project management tools. It allows my team and I the ability to create lists, communicate with one another on tasks and to-do's, and keep track of relevant information. It's easy to access cloud based interface is simple enough for everyone to use, and the mobile app makes it easy to make notes and keep track of things on the go.
I have created Trello boards to use on every new job that I've launched in the past year, and will continue to do so!
I wish it were a bit easier to categorize to-do's and that the default card format was easier to change.
Try it - play with it, ask questions. It's worth the time. Easier than Basecamp, and generally meets the needs of a team collaborating on projects.
Communication with team in different remote locations is much easier with Trello. We don't need to have multiple MS project licenses to share info with Trello.
